Gracie Poole

Gracie Poole is the Director of Operation 100th Sheep, a ministry dedicated to educating, equipping, and encouraging the Body of Christ to love well the broken, the hurting, and the lost sheep so that the name of Jesus may be made famous. She also serves on staff with Agape First Ministries and is a speaker, author, podcast host, and advocate for biblical discipleship and restoration.

Gracie grew up in a Bible-believing Christian home where she was taught the truths of Scripture from an early age. She was actively involved in her local church and participated in Awana from the age of three through high school. After years of faithful study and Scripture memorization, she earned the highest award offered through the Awana program, providing her with a strong biblical foundation that would later become instrumental in her walk with Christ.

For nearly seventeen years, Gracie identified as a lesbian and was part of the LGBT community after being falsely accused of being a lesbian and eventually believing that lie about her identity. Despite her Christian upbringing, she wrestled with questions of identity, belonging, and purpose and eventually walked away from many of the biblical convictions she had been taught.

In 2006, while still in a relationship with a woman, Gracie returned to studying Scripture with a simple but life-changing question: What does God have to say, rather than what does man have to say? Her search led her to study what the Bible teaches concerning sin, God's relationship with sinners, the unforgivable sin, sanctification, and transformation. What began as a search for answers became a lifelong pursuit of God's truth.

For twenty years, Gracie has devoted herself to studying these subjects through the lens of Scripture, seeking to understand and teach what God says about repentance, redemption, identity, and spiritual transformation. Throughout that journey, she has openly shared her own story as a testimony of what it looks like to have a renewed mind and a life redeemed by Jesus Christ.

In May 2020, after years of searching for peace and fulfillment apart from God, Gracie surrendered her life completely to Jesus Christ. Since then, God has radically transformed her life and given her a passion to proclaim the hope, freedom, grace, and truth found in the Gospel.

Today, Gracie travels and speaks at churches, conferences, and events, sharing her testimony and teaching on biblical discipleship, identity in Christ, repentance, sexual integrity, church engagement, and the transforming power of God's Word. Her ministry is rooted in the conviction that no one is beyond the reach of God's grace and that Jesus Christ still seeks and saves the lost.

In addition to her speaking ministry, Gracie hosts and contributes to the "It's Time for Agape" podcast, mentors individuals and families affected by sexual and gender identity issues, and develops resources to help churches respond with both truth and grace. She has authored numerous books and Bible studies focused on discipleship, cultural issues, healing from trauma, spiritual growth, and the authority of Scripture.

Gracie was ordained by Agape First Ministries in June 2023 and baptized later that month. In November 2024, Operation 100th Sheep became an official branch ministry of Agape First Ministries, expanding opportunities to serve individuals, families, and churches across the country.

One of her life verses is Luke 15:4–7, the parable of the lost sheep, which reflects the heart of her ministry: pursuing the one who is lost and pointing them to the Good Shepherd, Jesus Christ.

Gracie learned something very simple that she shares in everything: No one is too far gone, no story is beyond redemption, and Jesus Christ is still in the business of rescuing, restoring, and rejoicing over His sheep. Through her testimony, she seeks to point people not to herself, but to the Savior who leaves the ninety-nine to pursue the one lost sheep.

Ashley Pfoser's story is one of God's faithfulness in the midst of profound brokenness.

Growing up, Ashley experienced a childhood marked by neglect, instability, and abuse. The youngest of three girls, she often found herself raising herself while navigating the challenges of disconnected parents. Her mother struggled with alcoholism, and her father spent much of his time on the road as a truck driver. As a child, Ashley endured multiple forms of abuse, including sexual assault. When the abuse was discovered, her family chose to protect the perpetrator rather than protect Ashley. The wounds left behind would shape much of her life for years to come.

As Ashley entered adulthood, she carried the weight of trauma, eventually being diagnosed with Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (C-PTSD). In high school, she became pregnant with her first son. Shortly after his birth, she met Chris, and together they quickly began building a family.

What began with hope soon became a painful cycle of isolation and abuse. With young children and another baby on the way, Ashley was moved far away from everyone she knew and loved. Contact with family became increasingly restricted. As the years passed and more children were born, the controlling behavior escalated into emotional, verbal, and eventually physical abuse.

After the birth of her fourth child, the violence intensified. During one attempt to leave the relationship, Ashley suffered a severe assault that left her hospitalized. In the aftermath, her world seemed to collapse. Her children were removed from her care, and she found herself facing what felt like an impossible mountain to climb.

In October of 2023, Ashley lost custody of her children. Broken, exhausted, and searching for answers, she continued trying to escape the cycle of abuse while fighting to rebuild her life.

Then God began writing a different chapter.

In November of 2023, Ashley started a new job as a closing manager at Burger King. Through an unexpected connection with a high school friend, she was introduced to someone who would become one of the most influential people in her life: Gracie Poole.

Ashley often says there was something about Gracie that made her feel safe enough to tell the truth about her life. For perhaps the first time, she encountered someone who listened without judgment, cared without conditions, and pointed her toward hope. Through Gracie, Ashley was introduced to a community of believers who walked alongside her, encouraged her, prayed for her, and helped her fight for restoration.

At a Transforming Joy event hosted by Agape First Ministries, Ashley heard the gospel message in a way she had never truly understood before. For years she had believed her story was defined by abuse, abandonment, trauma, and failure. That day she discovered there was hope for her too. She learned that Jesus Christ came to seek and save the lost, heal the brokenhearted, and make all things new.

In March of 2024, Ashley surrendered her life to Jesus Christ.

The transformation that followed was not merely external—it was the beginning of deep healing from years of wounds and lies. Surrounded by a community that loved her and pointed her toward Christ, Ashley began learning what it meant to walk in freedom, forgiveness, and new life.

On August 17, 2024, she publicly declared her faith through baptism.

God's redemption continued to unfold. In April of 2025, Ashley was reunited with her children, and in August of that same year, custody was officially restored. What once seemed impossible had become a testimony of God's grace, provision, and faithfulness.

Today, Ashley serves as the Administrative Assistant for Operation 100th Sheep. She uses her story to encourage others who feel trapped by their past, reminding them that no one is beyond the reach of God's love. Her life stands as a testimony that Jesus still heals the broken, restores families, redeems what has been lost, and gives beauty for ashes.

Ashley's greatest joy is being a mother to her children, serving the Lord, and helping others discover the same hope that transformed her life.
